We received our crumb cake yesterday and were so delighted with this product!! The cake was moist and tasty and the crumb topping was just like I remember from the authentic bakeries of old. Piled so high with such a delicious flavor the crumb topping had to be 3 inches high, was sturdy and not overly sweet. The perfect ratio of cake to crumb!! This is the real deal and we will be ordering many more as gifts for the Holidays!!! Worth every penny!!!Fresh browniesI've had different brownies from Ruth's over the years and they never disappoint. The brownies are always fresh, moist and delicious. Although, on this last order I noticed that the brownies were smaller than the last time that I had them a couple of years ago. I don't know whether they just cut them into smaller portions or that if the overall amount is less. Overall, they are worth getting as a treat every once in a while.Brownies are dense and moist. Chocolate taste is very good smooth, if your a chocolate lover these Brownies are for you.Delivery is fast and easy.These brownies are very fudgy and delicious. My only complaint is the way they were packaged, with a large cardboard on the bottom and the brownies all in a layer on top. You could see where they were cut into individual squares, but it was hard to separate them to remove just one at a time without making a big mess -- lots of crumbs and some pieces breaking off the other ones. I think this is a very good price for 12 brownies.We're long-time fans of Ruth's extra fudgy Chocolate and Chocolate Walnut Brownies - they're very dense and moist and taste like they just came out of the oven. The brownies arrive festively packaged in colorful tissue paper and boxes (especially the Birthday Box - it's beautiful!). Ruth's Brownie Barks are especially wonderful and make fun gifts - we love the walnut and toffee crunch barks. If, on the off chance, any brownies are left uneaten, they freeze and defrost well, tasting as great as the day you receive them.Brownies are my number one favorite dessert, so I can be rather judgy about them. But these are GREAT! Dense and fudgy, and super delicious when warmed up. Their peanut butter swirl variety is THE BEST. Yes the price is higher than your box mix at the Walmart, but the quality is so much better. AND... the pieces are pretty sizable. If I had any self-control, one piece could easily be two pieces, but not for me!I ordered these for a "sprinkle" shower for my daughter and got them a little early, so popped them in the freezer, not sure exactly how "fresh" they would still be over a week later. To my surprise, they were still WONDERFUL! We sprinkled some icing on them and they were a hit for the party!
